Re: Stewardess's Today
I was one of the flight attendants on flight 401. After the crash I worked in crew scheduling for a couple of years. Then I took a leave of absence and moved to Dallas, where I underwent intense therapy with a wonderful phsychiatrist. After a year, I went back to flying for Eastern and commuted from Dallas to Miami and then from Dallas to Atlanta. A few people were freaked out to see me in uniform again!! I managed just fine but kept reinjuring my back, so I finally resigned in 1978. I worked for American Airlines in crew scheduling from 1982 to 1995. Then I went to work for a pet boarding company. Now I'm on my own taking care of little dogs while their owners are traveling. This Thanksgiving I had 20 little furry visitors and it was pretty hectic, but they are all very sweet and get along well together. That's my story. I don't know what anyone else is doing, but I hope they are doing well.
