Re: My friend was killed on that flight
A while back there was an online memorial page to Carol Jackter. I recall it was well written and very sad- whoever created it painted quite a nice word-picture of a free spirit who he or she admired very much. I just checked for it, but it seems to have been taken down. Carol Susan Jackter, 20, was the daughter of the vice-president for distribution of Columbia Pictures at the time. Columbia ran a very nice consolation notice in the New York Times on the day Miss Jackter, 20, was buried: January 2, 1973. Her memorial service was on the Upper West Side in NYC. At the time of her death, she worked for the White Stag Sports Clothing Company.
