42 years ago tonight

It's 10:30 PM & I was just on the phone with Ron Infantino who was a 401 passenger survivor but lost his bride of 20 days, Lily. It is hard to imagine that our lives would change so drastically in less than an hour & a half! We spoke of how sometimes it seems like just yesterday and how the memory of Lily for Ron and for me the memory of my fellow crew & passengers remain alive in our hearts. As you know, we have worked for years to raise a memorial to the 101 passengers & crew who did not survive & give tribute to those who helped in the search & rescue. Even though life has interrupted us, WE HAVE NEVER GIVEN UP!!!!!! We are so close and tonight Ron & I have set a personal goal of dedicating it one year from today....DECEMBER 29th 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have to raise $50,000.00 & I know we can do that. The National Air Disaster Alliance is taking the donations. The address & website are on this site under "Memorial" Peter will also be loading the pictures of it. No donation is too small. I hope as many of you as can will come to the dedication! As we move closer to the hour I want you all to know that your loved ones will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish everyone could have survived 401! My heart goes out to each of you who lost loved ones as I know your hearts are remembering them tonight. God bless you all! Bev (Raposa) Stewardess survivor
