First, can you send me (or post) your character's background again? I looked in my email and could not locate it. I just recall the goblin fighting background and you having been at Crosswatch for some time. Update as you please.
2. If no hooks for causing trouble appear id like to go to the sanctuary of arawn
My main concern with that is that the Sanctuary of Arawn is 250 miles away in a region not mapped (nor in my head) in as much detail as the region you are in and is far away from current intrigues. I'd like to better understand what you picture happening for this pilgrimage, whether it would be a full party trip (multiple game sessions), or an extended downtime (handled by board/email and recapped during a session), or something in between? Either way I am game, I am just want to understand and guage what needs to be done. Hooks can be moved or new ones added if the party wants to make a change of scene
Also for your consideration is the Sun Temple of Lugh, which is in the current region about 60 miles away. You would be able to find the 2nd highest ranking Priest of Arawn in the Circle (if the pilgrimage is about consultation vs. a visiting holy relics kind of thing).
Beyond that there could be also be a Heirophant (former Great Druids and other powerful but reclusives religious figures who operate outside the formal religious heriarchy) who may also be an appropriate figure as a spiritual guide, but finding one could be a challenge. Just brainstorming some ideas and wanting to get a handle on what you are picturing.
3. Find a proper animal companion, guess it would be a wolf but I'm open to something exotic/cool
The best way to find something is to determine what you want and quest for it.
4. In general acting as a agent for the church and becoming involved in quests leading toward some sort of rank in its organization
Some background about the Angharad religion: In the Angharad Priesthood "The Circle", the Great Druid, Arch Druids, High Druids and their direct Initiates are considered ranked (leaders of the priesthood) and they total 58. There are any number of other clerics and druids who are members of the Circle but not ranked (and they can raise as high as 4th level divine casters). Non-divine caster members of the Circle are considered Initiates of the 1st Circle, and that is the highest rank they can obtain.
I have not thought much on how non-ordained servants of the Circle are organized, but there would certainly be a army of lay brothers supporting the priesthood. For Arawn, let's call the militant arm the Hunters of Arawn (or just the Hunters), who serve and protect the priests of Arawn and act as their agents in the field. I will assume that one of the goals of the pilgrimage would be to join the Hunters of Arawn. If you don't have one, acquiring a good bow would be a good idea.
What do you picture happening with your involvement with this organization? What do you picture they might ask of you? What sort of responsibilities or benefits do you picture coming with rank in the Hunters?
5. Find a magic spell/ scroll/item/ totem etc that grants night vision to help me kill goblins!
A Darkvision potion costs 300gp. Wands are a bit more difficult (requring a 5th level caster to create). A wand of Light spells runs 750gp fully charged, 4500gp for Darkvision. Finally, a straight up Goggles of Night runs 12k gp. Of course, there is no telling where these or other goodies might be found either randomly, commissioned for creation, or if a person seeks out rumors, tales and legends and hunts them down.
