I just bought a 70 Torino convertible, H code on the vin. However, it has 4 barrel heads, an 18 & 1/2 in fan blade, lower compression and a 4300 carb with D2AB on the tag. It has a single point distributer which indicates that the engine came with automatic. Everything indicates a 72 Q code except the carb & manifold which appears to be 72 also. Does all this make sense? The car retains the 3:0 rear end and C4 trans. ~Bill~
