Historical fiction youth series Meg was lead character

I read a series when I was a kid that were all historical mysteries with the lead character's name of Meg. she and a group of her friends would solve mysteries that had to do with something out of history. One book in particular I remeber had to do with finding the dolls that belonged to Geaorge Washington's daughter that were hidden in a dollhouse's secret compartment.
Any help in figuring out the name of this series would be greatly appreciated!
