I've recently been getting into The Cribs. They are three brothers from Wakefield who don't sound that too disimilar to another power pop trio from Cork. Coincidentally their debut album was produced by Edwyn Collins before he became ill. The similarities are amazing on quite a few of their songs, not sure if they are Franks fans, but if you need a methadone type substitute until there is "renewed interest in happiness" again...
