You, your brothers and sisters all grew up and left home, leaving your mum and dad to live in a home they are prisoners during the hours of darkness? Can you image the pain and hurt they would be going through as youths knock on their doors, damage the car or throw eggs and stones at their windows night after night? How would you feel when you have to leave them there at night knowing they are prisoners in their own home.
Dont make your road and your neighbouring roads like johns park west clondalkin where round towers youths and individual parents made life a hell for elderly people night in, night out.You might play for round towers,home farm, saint pats or saint francis but one thing is a certainty.... your parent or parents will one day have to live alone, a target for others and a reference point for those who may not forget.
