Hi Jerry, considering what dates you sent I'm kinda confused, being that dad was transferred from Puerto Rico around '62 to Corpus Christi and then to Whidbey nas around '65. Did you also get transferred too or are you just stating that you met him in '62 and knew and kept in touch until '68? My dad did have a middle names, just that nobody knew it. His first names was garl, and he changed it to earl which was his real middle name. After he retired as a cpo in '69, my parents divorced and he moved to Seattle and got a job as an electronic maintenance instructor with the boeing company. In '74 my mother sent one of my sisters and I to live w/him in Seattle, actually Renton, that's where I went to high school. Hi retired from boeing around the early '90s and moved to DC to work in the presidents mail room for a while until moving to Newport Or until '98. He had 3 of his own kids from my mother and adopted my older brother who was born from my mother, so there's two boys and two girls. He never remarried after the divorce but had a few girlfriends, some in other countries because as an instructor for boeing he was required to travel to other countries to teach the students of the companies that bought boeing jets. His job was to teach how to fix everything electronic on all of boeing jets, as he said, from the toilet light to the autopilot. Gotta go now, maybe I can write later.
