I've just stumbled across this website, and was reading your response. I flew in VW-4, as a Radar Tech, Crew member, and Electronic Crew Chief, from 69-74. I remember every year the squadron would send a plane to fly over the last known position of our only lost aircraft in order to pay our respect and to drop a wreath into the sea. The squadron, never got over it either, even though none of us knew the crew personally. I was just wondering if your father was aware of this being done?
