Wonder if anyone remembers the Hurricane Donna
saga in 60. I was a AG and we flew the storm east of Rosy. After we got back the back up crew( The Skipper's crew had difficulty getting their A/C airborne so took our a/c and left us with a sick bird. I unfortunatly stood watch after a 12 hour mission in the new hangar,however the rest of the crew went to the old hangar in Rosy and flew the low level penitration when Donna hit Rosy in the hangar and painted with scope pencil on the nose gear door "Hangar Penetration White Elephant" believe it was 137891. Does anyone recall that night? Well as you can imagine we spent the next day cleaning up the a/c.
