I have recently been in contact with Billy Ray Hawkins of VW-4, he has given me some insight as to what might be the best way to locate any information related to my father, Rene' L. Mons. He sometimes went by the nicknames "Rainy" or "Jeep". I'm trying to do some behind the scenes research as it related to finding information as to whether or not he would have qualified for the "Century Club". He was in VW-4 back in the years around '57-'59. Flew out of Jax NAS as a navigator and was deployed in Puerto Rico. He was from New Hampshire.If anyone can put me in touch with either Commander Brango or Poynter, or if you have any feedback it sure would be appreciated.
