I am the daughter of the co-pilot, George Herlong,
and I have some pictures I would share with you. I e-mail one of the men that was on the same sqaudron as your uncle (I think). He was left behind that time to give the reporters room. His name is Jim Meyers. My father was filling in for a man that had a wife having a baby at the time. It was not his normal crew. I don't know if I have a picture of your uncle or not, but I will look!
