Hmmm. let's see, President Bush is pushing for a 1.75 billion program to help transition persons with disabilities out of institutions and nursing homes, an additional $220 million for four new innovative home and community-based alternative programs, respite programs, community based alternatives for children currently housed in psych institutions, and an additional $95 million for medicaid coverage for spouses of persons with disabilities.....and, oh yeah, the author and chief sponser of the ADA bill was another Republican,(Bob Dole.) So what have the dems done lately except whine?
