Posted by Dave Reynolds The idea is to make it so that a person would be easily and quickly located if they wander or run away. But wearing such a device also would mean the person would give up their privacy. What do you think? Is the trade-off for safety worth the loss of privacy?

Technology has been used for years that allows people to be tracked by law enforcement or rescuers through bracelets or other devices the person would wear.
