Olympics, Paralympics, Special Olympics, oh my! Three seperate organizations, three venues, each with it's own political agenda, fundraising apparatus, targeted audience, sponsors, etc. It's not the athletes, with or without disabilities, that are the problem...it's the fact that we have many diverse institutions competing for the almighty fundraising/sponsorship dollar. I'm all for inclusion, but I'm not sure I'd like to see the I.O.C. running one venue that every athlete in every sport can participate in. That would probably be a nightmare! And what about the X-Games, World Cup? Wimbledon? U.S. Open? etc.
