Parents Defend Cosmetic Surgery To Remove Daughter's Down Syndrome Features

In regard to the British parents who had their daughter undergo cosmetic surgery to remove facial features associated with Down syndrome in order to 'improve' her self esteem and help her 'fit in', I only have to say that many of my friends have Down syndrome. None have 'self-esteem' problems. Then again, each has been accepted as they are by their families. Dave
