Poor Tim! OP LIFE is a segregated community-based institution where the lives of the residents are regulated by the whims of the direct care-givers and financial interests of management. Most of the residents become passive and compliant, leave or get kicked out.
HUD studies 20 years ago showed that such places always deteriorate this way and Op LIFE has followed that pattern during the 25 years I've visited there.
A building that houses 30 to 40 people is an institution wherever it's located. I don't expect the public press to understand that. i'm disappointed that Inclusion Daily doesn't.
