Sir John Nott High time we knew the facts about charity

With reference to the article in todays paper by Sir John Nott, I write to inform him that having worked as a Finance officer for the Red Cross for 15 years all monies received for a specific purpose ie Tsunami disaster fund are bound by law to be used as such. I can confirm this is so as sometimes the administrative task is quite considerable but always adhered too. Please can you retract this in your paper as fund raising is hard enough without people reporting incorrect facts. I feel it would be very sad for such worthwhile charities to lose needed income through misrepresentation. Thank you Janet Langston ex Finance Officer for Warwickshire.
