Thanks for the follow-up.
The reality is that Inclusion Daily Express has come to side strongly with the folks who have spoken against Michael Schiavo in the strongest possible terms - this much is clear from the content and focus of the articles you include in regular mailings. I have accepted this as part of the "Not Dead Yet" party line. What I do not accept is the emerging idea that the NDY perspective is "the disability perspective", and feel it necessary to speak out at this time to focus on that reality.
None of this of course is intended to suggest that you shouldn't do as you please - however that doesn't mean that I sit back and allow you to speak for me or others in the disability community who disagree. The reality is that folks on my side of the issue are being demonized right along with Michael Schiavo - and characterized in the most negative terms available. Frankly - I'm tired of it.
