Posted by Steven M. Busch You asked me if I wrote the following.. You also asked, "A) Can you articulate what in this 'medical record' justifies 'vicious' accusations at Michael Schiavo?" The answer is no. I never claimed that the bone scan medical record "justifies" anything. Alone the document means very little. Those on "my side" (the pro-life side) certainly intended to imply that Michael may have had something to do with all those fractures. Added to the sworn affidavits of Terri's nurses and public statements made by Terri's friends and family, it does cast a certain amount of suspicion on Michael's character and fitness to be guardian. If you are asking me if I think the document proves anything or the evidence is conclusive, I would answer no, obviously not. Granted, Judge Greer examined the evidence and found it lacking. That said, I would not want Michael Schiavo to be my guardian. SB

Paul,
Thank-you for taking part in this debate. This discussion board had been much too quiet until recently. I"m not totally comfortable seeing my own name posted here so much, and like you I have many other things to do. Running a Kingdom keeps me pretty busy as you can imagine. But I will at least try to answer your questions.
"Those on 'my side' of the issue did use this medical record to level some rather vicious accusations at Michael Schiavo."
The answer is yes.
You also asked me, "B) If your "analysis" of this "medical record" differs from Dr. Walker's (a radiologist, and author of the report) opinion, that states NO cause, then what is it in your analysis that gives it more weight, credence, or credibility?"
My answer is already stated above. I have disputed nothing about Dr. Walker's medical report or his testimony about the report. We agree on something, (amazing isn't it!) that the medical report, while it documents the condition of Terri's skeleton accurately, doesn't prove a darn thing.
In my opinion, this case was much less about which party get's to be the decision maker, but on whether these life and death decisions themselves are moral, ethical, right. Unfortunately, the Schiavo case degenerated into a "he said, she said" type of thing. The Schindler's attorney was no match for the crafty Mr. Felos, who simply out maneuvered the opposition at every turn through this whole process. I would even go so far as to say that Felos "destroyed" the opposition.
Yes, I do think Felos' ideas (regarding euthanasia, the "right" to die, assisted suicide, etc.) are insane. And yes, if I were KING I would gladly lock him up and throw away the key. Fortunately for Mr. Felos, (and perhaps for all the rest of us), as you pointed out, I am not king. I'm just one person who will fight for what I believe in until my dying day, which by the way, will not be at a time of my own choosing, but will be according to God's will and in His time.
