"Danielle's Law" requires staff who work with people with developemntal disabilities or traumatic brain injury to dial 911 telephone emergencies in life threatening situations, something that Danielle was not afforded. Danielle died on November 5, 2002 because of the failure to call 911 when Danielle was running a 105 degree temperature and difficulty breathing for over 14 hours.
