It is unfortunate that we are losing lives needlessly because staff do not recognize signs of life threatening emergencies. If staff believe it is a life threatening emergency than a 911 call must be made. It they do not believe it is a life threatening emergency, then no 911 call should be made. If they are unsure, call 911. (when in doubt call 911) I think professionals can understand that, dont you? Some professionals are true professionals, while some are less than professional. Any one of us "could" become that "vulnerable" one day because of an accident, injury, disease, etc....you or your loved one will be protected under Danielle's Law. Danielle's Law could save your life or someone who is very near and dear to you some day. 14 hours of labored breathing and a reported temperature of 105 degrees, and no one call 911 for Danielle and she died. Yes, Mr. Volt, you are right, it is pathetic that we need a law for life threatening emergencies that will protect our most weakest individual. I guess everyone does not OWN common sense.
