Posted by Dave Reynolds Well, from Monday's reports it looks like there is good news for the Ross family, that they have secured the support not only of the children's services ministry but also of the B.C. premier himself. I am very happy for them. It is unfortunate that any family is discriminated against in this fashion simply because of a disability and the perception that the person may someday cost the system money. Having said that, I wonder if the family would have experienced even a fraction of the same level of support had the father been, for example, a janitor or an assembly worker rather than the head of a firm employing hundreds of workers.
