We have many wonderful outdoor programs designed for people with disabilities here in Spokane too. While we have not been able to match the "ski for free" program in Maine, the Spokane Parks has a growing adaptive ski program, some awesome new equipment and our very own brand new building on Mt. Spokane. We also provide lessons for folks with developmental disabilities in both alpine and nordic skiing. As far as I know, Spokane Parks started the first mountain biking program for people with developmental disabilities in the country. And don't forget our canoeing, sea kayaking and backpacking trips.
