See my comments posted March 18, 2002 for this one. Too bad the parents felt litigation was the way to go, sounds to me like the Wakefield Basketball Association was heading in the right direction. Let's hope the bitter taste of a lawsuit does not diminish the opportunity for the development and inclusion of a wheelchair division in the league. The article describing wheelchair rugby as "Murder Ball" should clarify the situation for anyone who thinks it would be okay for wheelchair users to be on the same court with ambulatory kids or adults in organized competitive sports.
