At a April 29 meeting with consumer groups, I showed the picture of Under Secretary Murano that was on page 7 of the February 7, 2003 FSIS News & Notes to Secretary Veneman (with Dr. Murano present) and said that it did not send the right message if the top food safety official of the Department was not complying with dress codes in effect for inspectors. Dr. Murano agreed.
