I am the Chief Executive Officer for the Association of Meat Inspectors GB Ltd, which is the professional organisation representing 1400 inspectors in the UK. In the UK & Europe we are moving towards a system of allowing plant staff to carryout meat inspection, we are aware that in the US you have had problems with the introduction of a simular system incorporating HACCP the UK inspectors would be grateful for any information about how the system is now going and any upto date info.
