I may be wrong as I am new to the raw diet. I have been using it for about 6 mths now and have had to learn by trial and error. It was told to me that any chicken bone cooked could become brittle and splinter and seriously hurt your dog. If you cooked it at all it would start deteriating the nutrients in the meat and bone. I have been told the best way to feed an all raw diet is for it to be just that all raw. The chicken bones uncooked can be chewed up for calcium. See at first I thought you should cook it as to kill the germs and not give your dogs worms. Which I learned is a myth, dogs can handle a lot. You also have to give them some liver everyonce in a while. The one thing I really don't know much about is tripe. This might be a stupid question but what is tripe?
