I agree totally Mark. I haven't been around that long but I have been around long enough to know that only a few breeders are really trying to better JDJ's lines. I also agree that the best dogs are yet to come. Let's face it to me the Johnson lines are the original lines of bulldogs. Almost all dogs today came from or are because of those lines. It is my opinion that they are the best. I do think they need improving and I agree with Mark that there is room to improve and the lines to be able to do it. We just need dedicated breeders and other people like me who are willing to learn and do whatever it takes to better this breed. I am always up for learning something. I want to better these dogs so bad I can taste it. I love this breed and it burns my soul when people say 100% JDJ dogs aren't any good anymore or they are scooby doo dogs. That really pisses me off because they are great dogs. They can be better but so can the whole breed for that matter. The best dogs are yet to come and I plan on being around to see it. I also hope I can contribute no matter how small it might be. I will do whatever I can. I also plan on trying to preserve the integrity of Mr. Johnson and the breed. There are too many people spreading rumors like it's fact about JDJ and what he has done in the past. JMO
