Just returned from Rome & a nice visit with John D. He was having a pretty good day today, however, after a while, he was ready for a rest. He has been having 2 good days, then one really bad day. Seems he's getting weaker,, the good days aren't quite as good as earlier in his hospitalization, the bad days seem to becoming worse. Thought he wasn't going to make it Wed. night. Keep him in your prayers, it looks like he will be going home in a few days with round the clock staff. Also, he told Scott to be sure to bring his get well cards & photos that some of you sent, home with him. He really appreciated the pictures & cards.
