I thought they had stopped shipping outside the US because of all the BS (may be wrong). Looks to me you and your dogs are going in the right direction. I remember when you where having to go through all this with Mark and Kim to get your Eli. She looks good and good luck on the pregnancy and keep making good dogs. The way it looks, Mark is a good guy to work with !!!

: I dont know if they ship there, i'm in New Zealand and i dont know if they would
: ship here either, after there reply i wouldn't want one from that yard unless it was
: and adult they would xray before export, it is an observation of the dogs i have
: seen over there (Aus) from other web sites and emails about there dogs, as some over
: there dont think its important to elbow score there breeding dogs and most think the
: same about hip scoring as well, even though they guarantee there dogs from non
: xrayed breeding stock,
: I do like the look of most of JDJ's dogs but to import one is a to higher risk.
: NZ is a very difficult country to import dogs into just ask bigsky about the
: difficulties, and very stressful, and to there credit it was done, and in difficult
: times for him also, we are just waiting to see if our female is pregnant from Eli,
: scan is next week (3 days),
: cheers mark.

: Hi every one, there has been some great info gained from this post, i found bigskys
: first response a very good one, I am very new and want the best for the breed, on
: emailing JDJ's kennels asking about hip and elbow scores there response was that
: they don't do it!, so getting pups from them to me is far to risky, My question is,
: I see lots of breeders going the right way with hip scoring but how many actaully
: xray there elbows? as this is also a serious problem within the breed also, I know
: there is no perfect dog but there are some shitters that shouldn't be breed, just my
: observation mainly with the dogs in Australia,

: First off let me say I am not trying to start a bash someone thread. In that being
: said I have only been in the breed about 5 yrs and only breeding about 1/2 that
: time. I for my own personally knowledge would like to know everyone's view on JDJ
: breeding practices. This and that has been said and I would really like to know the
: truth. I haven't been around long enough to know it but I have been around in this
: world long enough to know when something should have proof. I am really trying to
: learn about the breed and before I make my mind up I would like to know all the
: facts. I came to this board for the answer because I think my best chances of
: getting are here. Thanks in advance.
