I believe that recall was only dog food from a certain plant. South Carolina or somewhere south I believe. The dog food from the Missouri plant and others were not affected by that recall. I don't feed diamond now. I was feeding it then and made sure the stuff I had was good at that time.

I have tried to feed my dogs the lower fat content(15%) but they were loosing to much wait on it. I could feed them all they wanted and they would still lose weight. I am now feeding Nutri-Source Performance($26-40lb. bag@ .65 per pound). 30% protein and 20% fat. With a 1 lb. chicken leg quarter($4.70-10lb bag@ .47 per lb.) a day. I have finally started getting their weight back on them. I don't feed my pups this or my older dogs, just the ones that get out and move and do some dragging for me. I haven't had them hooked up since I started feeding this, I needed to get them back where I like them first. It really is a no brainer to feed some raw chicken with their diet with the price of it today. My dog food guy said that diamond is going to have another price hike in March, so get a bunch before the hike.
