Did I miss something? Did I slander anyone? Because I believe Breeders who do n0ot check hips are a huge part of the problem I slandered someone? I also agree Character is very important and what a person does with there Program speaks about his or her character to me! I don't care how many puppies they replace! You see it as slander speaking what I believe about a breeding program? So I should just shut my mouth and look the other way? What are you saying then what I see as a problem just make like its not a problem please explain? Mark P.S. Your right it is what it is!
--Previous Message-- : My dog does not have bad hips, tested in the median. Did not say I would not use Penn : Hip Stated that I have and planned on it. Not believing that there are people out : there that been around long enough to know if a dog has problems or not is like : denying ones grandmothers home remedies cause their are pills to take instead. Not : believing the newbie’s should spend as much time possible with the veterans of the : breed (sitting on the porch) is like not taking advantage of a source of knowledge. : I stated that I believe that after generational usage of the Penn hip that it : could/would improve hip scores. It is a good tool but not the only tool. : I was not talking sh... about newbie's cause I still classify myself as one, 3 yrs : in and still learning, no rush. Are you telling me that after so many litters, and : so many tested dogs that you could not tell hips without an x-ray? You have to admit : that people breeding so quickly without learning about the breed is a big cause of : bad hipped dogs being breed. To many people jumping with both feet without knowing : how deep the water is. My point in this whole thing is not to judge people by how : they evaluate their dogs because whether they test them or not, it does not speak on : the character of the person. We will have to agree to disagree. “I” will always deal : with people on the character level. I would much rather buy a dog from a breeder who : may not use Pennhipp and I trust their integrity and honesty; I trust that they will : be there for me as a “newbie” and answer questions. I trust that they will not : slander me for seeking advice or after trying to do good by them or helping them : out. A mans character will always “ALWAYS” come before some scientific study. At the : end of the day that is what matters. Good hips, bad hips, no hips if a breeder’s : word is no good what good is the Penn Hip. : : It is what it is Mark. I would rather lose money on a man of integrity then to make : money with a man of no morals. : : "To be persuasive we must be believable; to be believable we must be credible; : credible we must be truthful." : :
