Use lifelike owl statues.

Go to your local feed store,(call first) and get 2 realistic looking owls, Post on either ends of kennel like there watching for birds and you won't see any birds land again. Post them about 8 to 12 feet off of ground. This will be chemical free and last for years. Also dosen't cost much.
