i like birds..robins ..cardnils..bluejays..hummingbirds. black birds carry thousnd,s of extremly deadly diseses to animals and human,s and when they come through it is not uncommon to have sevral thousand in one tree,a flock can be hundreds of thousands. mostly they are looking for some where to rest and roost. if they find a little food or water they eat till it is gone. but they will leave after awhile,but if you out out feeders and water they will never leave. i am talking an inch or more of crap under a tree in a couple of days. my dog got histo from them,it takes awhile to show up. first she lost a little wieght..not a lot. then she looked like she found a nest of hornets and every one of these bumps kept growing,took her to vet at first sign of bump,s too late. each bump grew as big around as a quarter and over a 1/2 inch high,then got a head like a pimple and finally exploded blood and pus,oh yeah kept losing wieght also. that was with treatment,this disease is basicly uncurable. people can get it from blackbirds also,repeat uncurable. this is only one disease they carry,keeping the crap out of water and food is great. but as long as there is crap anywhere around,you will have diseases you cant believe. find a way to get them gone or leave yourself. feed them if you want,but they aint hummingbirds!!
