Yeah, the new Carpet Crawlers did suck. Also, I would like to add that due to the Sci Fi nature of The Lamb, the synths work magically... I actually think more Hackett would detract from the feel of the album. Well... maybe a little more wouldn't have hurt.
And I also think Genesis is the best prog band. Call it childhood attachment, but I always get a warm, fuzzy feeling when I listen to their albums. And it doesn't hurt that England is my favorite album of all time.
