In the song Fountain of Lamneth by Rush I thought geddy said "####" a few times in the background. I was 13 at the time and had been listening to almost nothing but Rush for about six months prior to that. I'll admit I was obsessed. Hearing that freaked me out though (I was a sheltered child and I though the hearing the word "####" meant the end of the world), and I swore off Rush for a good year.
This was good because I let myself discover other kinds of music for a change. When I came back to Rush after that I found I could no longer hear this strange voice. And I could listen to Rush with an open mind and see that not all of their stuff was the greatest music ever made. In fact, a lot of it outright sucks. Yay for me!
