I can't argue with yout. There are definately elements of progressive rock in Aqualung. The lyrics are somewhat proggy but not quite all the way. There is a definate concept on Aqualung which is a feature of prog rock. But the long instrumental sections and more classical references often found on prog albums are somewhat muted on Aqualung songs. I would guess that hard rock fans enjoy the electric songs on Aqualung and that those songs would fit nicely on a record that included the hard rock songs from any other hard rock Tull record..ie Warchild..Too Old .. Stand Up..Benefit..Stormwatch..etc..
