Really, amateur review sites is really a more public equivalent of telling people about your taste in music. Sort of showing someone your collection and then personally recommending the highlights of the collection. The difference is just the greater detail explaining why you rate the album highly.
Really who has a top 5 band and then deliberately keep the make up of your favourtie artist a secret to be announced to at a later date. Isn't the first thing you tell people your recommendations are the bands you like the best so that people rush out and give the album a listen? (which makes me wonder, is there a logic behind the sequencing of the itinerary?)
The mystery really should be the reasoning behind the the band rating rather than the band rating itself.
I mean Nolol has already declared his 15/15 albums already on this board even though he hasn't reach those albums in his chronological reviews.
