Wait a minute. 5 STAR artist? Hey, who's the next band on the itinerary? Why, if it isn't Big STAR! Not only that, but their initials are "B.S.", which is exactly what John has been spewing about this whole five star artist thing to begin with.
WAIT THERE'S MORE! Assuming John is using the 1992 CD release that combines their first album into one CD, if he just reviews it on its own, what does that make it? A sprawling, messy double album. Oh yeah, I'm going there.
WAIT THERE'S MORE! Big Star have FIVE official studio album releases - #1 Record, Radio City, Third/Sister Lovers, In Space and Third [Test Pressing Edition]. FIVE. FIVE albums for Big STAR.
WAIT THERE'S MORE! How many years was there in between Alex Chilton's hit song with The Box Tops, "The Letter", and Big Star's first album? That's right - FIVE!
I believe I have definitively proven that Big Star are the next 5 star artist. What do I win?
