I once talked to someone who was a researcher for some Ayn Rand institute and he made me promise to read a certain speech from The Fountainhead, but it's pretty shallow: "The creator lives for his work. He needs no other men. His primary goal is within himself. The parasite lives second-hand. He needs others. Others become his prime motive."
In any case, I find Rush' lyrics a bit distracting, roughly on the same level the lyrics to Firth of Fifth very slightly impair my enjoyment of that song.
