someone else should probably post in favor of those decades, that way the only torch being held for that debate isn't one that says "There is an interesting sub-title to this. I also feel that it's useless to discuss 'what would he have done, if he hadn't died of drugs or something in 197?' Just name your favourite rock hero of this era, who did something remarkable after 1975!"
