I agree that The Long and Winding Road is better when stripped down, but I still don't like it much for some reason. It's one of the very few late-period Beatles tracks that actively dislike. I also think the original Let it Be is better, but it's never really been a favorite of mine, relative to what's around it in their catalog, at least.
