This is weird as a E/D/C which is an equivalent of 14/13/12 is good enough for a 4 star rating (The Clash) but a 12/11/10 isn't.
"A 2-star rating is possible if their best album is a B IF their second best album is also a B OR their second album is a an A AND their third best album is at least a 9. "
Ok so a B/A/9 is good enough for a 2 star rating.
However the scenario where Jeremiah pointed out which is a C/A/8 isn't good enough for a 2 star rating. That just seems strange that the higher rating C album doesn't compensate for the lower 3rd best album.
That is strange because, therefore for a top C rated album to get a 2 star rating, they would need C/A/9. Therefore it makes no difference whether their best album is a C or a B (as B/A/9 is a 2 star band as you previously stated). i would like to think that a band with the peak of a C would require less consistency to get the 2 star rating then a band with a top rating of B. They shouldn't be interchangeable in determining band rating.

: Nope, 12/11/10 is not good enough. It
: wouldn't matter if #1 Record was a C and
: Radio City was an A.
