If the only release from Derek and the Dominos was "Layla" they would be a 1-star band. A high 1-star band, but a 1-star band. They get a 3-star rating because they also made an excellent live album that's in my top 15 live albums or so. The combination of the two boosts them up.

"Barrett" does not considered in the band rating for Syd because it is rated as 8. If it were a 9 it would be considered but still wouldn't be enough to boost Syd higher.
