He describes the album pretty well actually. Except I like the album in nearly every case he doesn't.
When he speaks of painful production I have to wonder if this boxset version he's listening to is some brickwalled remaster. The production is very 80s but not headache inducing in the slightest on my copies (which are vinyl & CD from the 90s).
