Probably my least favourite of his late-period work though. Darktown, To Watch The Storms, Wild Orchids (my personal favourite), and Beyond the Shrouded Horizon are all better IMO. Actually, I find it interesting how you point out the melodies as being one reason why you like it so much, whereas I find the melodies on it's neighboring albums to be much stronger. The other aspects you mention I find apply to almost all of his albums, so go listen to 'em again I say. ;)
