14 years ago, i wasn't into music however my top 10 before I discovered Starostin website.
It would be something like
Radiohead - oK computer
radiohead - The Bends
Blur - Blur
PJ Harvey - Rid Of Me
radiohead Kid A
radiohead - hail to the thief
The Beatles - Abbey Road
Blur -13
REM- New Adventures In Hi Fi
U2 - Zooropa
Yep Radiohead taking 40% of the top ten. Imagine my shock at discovering there was actually more to rock music than Radiohead
I admit that my love for Radiohead has decreased when discovering more music. I'm no where near a fan of Kid A, HTTT as I've used to be (both are 13's now) but OK Computer and The Bends are still top 10 albums for me.
Now it would be something like this
Radiohead OK computer
Kinks - Arthur
Genesis- Selling England
The Who - Quadrophenia
The Beatles - Abbey Road
The Rolling stones - let it bleed
Radiohead - The bends
Kate bush - the dreaming
Roxy music - roxy music
Bob dylan - blonde on blonde
I wonder whether in ten years, i'll look back on this top 10 and laugh as well or whether it would cement itself.

: But I love both Doolittle and Trompe le

: So for whatever reason yesterday I was
: thinking about a list I made 14 years ago of
: my favorite albums. These were albums that
: at the time I would have given a perfect
: score. I wish I had the actual list in front
: of me, but it's gone now. The only ones I
: remember are:
:
: Days of Future Passed - The Moody Blues
: Low - David Bowie
: Outside - David Bowie
: Teenager of the Year - Frank Black
: A Night at the Opera - Queen
:
: Now of course I wouldn't consider any of
: those perfect, and a couple of them (Outside
: and Teenager) I don't even particularly like
: anymore(though they're not bad). Who knows
: what I was thinking. Lack of exposure I
: guess. I wonder what I'll think about my
: current favorites in another 14 years.
