while i won't necessarily say his ween reviews have caused me to call into question his credibility or good taste, i'll certainly agree that ween is total kitsch, causing me to never shake that feeling of fluff that i get from their music no matter how much i enjoy any given song (and i always feel like they're putting me on), and while i like chocolate and cheese and somewhat enjoy the mollusk, i would never hold either of them in such a high regard as john does. but more power to him for doing so. so yeah, i basically agree with you.
